A number of GP practices in Hawkes Bay have chosen to contract with GPSI Diabetes so that any of their enrolled patients with diabetes can attend GPSI Diabetes for free.

If you are a patient enrolled at any of the following practices, talk with your practice nurse or GP and ask them if they can do a referral

​

• Totara Health, Flaxmere

• Totara Health, Nelson Street

• The Doctors Hastings

• The Doctors Waipawa

• The Doctors Gascoigne Street

Once we receive the referral

Sally will be in contact to make your first appointment. She will be scheduling a number of weekly appointments. Each will be about an hour long

​

There is no limit to the number of appointments you will receive, you can attend for as long as it takes to put a management plan in place for your diabetes. For most people this is about 4-6 visits.
